Here is a new expansion calculation. I measured the angular diameter of the comets head to be approximately 37" or 0.00018 radians. ( 2025-01-14 )
With the distance from the earth : 5.434 au = 815 000 000.0 km,
we can find the diameter of the dusty head ( coma ) to be 815 000 000 km x 0.00018 = 146 718 km approximately 147 000 km.
So here is the average speed of the expansion since outburst, 3. January, ( 11 days ago ) :
Radius/11 days = (147 000/2 km) / 11 days = 6682 km/day = 0.08 km/sec.
Which is less than Halley's comet (0.11 km/sec.) and Hale-Bopp (0.16 km/sec.) calculated at 6.26au from the sun.

Previous results :

Jan 14, 2025 0.08 km/sec.
Jan 12, 2025 0.07 km/sec.
Nov 14, 2024 0.12 km/sec.
Nov 7, 2024 0.10 km/sec.

For Halley's comet, we have outbursts flows :
At 1.5 au from the sun : 0.231 km/sec.( observed )
at 6.26 au from the sun : 0.231/sqrt(6.26/1.5) km/sec.= 0.11 km/sec. (calculated)

For comet C/1995 O1 (Hale-Bopp), we have outbursts flows :
At 0.98 au from the sun : 0.41 km/sec.( observed )
at 6.26 au from the sun : 0.41/sqrt(6.26/0.98) km/sec.= 0.16 km/sec. (calculated)

So the outflow velocity of 29P is less than Halley's and Hale-Bopp's continuous dust outflow at the same distance from the sun. So my conclusion so far is that this is an old normal comet with long periods of in-activities (approx. 63 days.)

Maybe we will see a similar outburst on 7. March 2025, assuming it is connected to the comets' rotation. ( 29P might be a tumbler with non-constant rotation period, determined on its geometry.)
