Details:
All photos were taken from my suburban backyard the night of Jan 15th-16th, 2024 MST. The comet positions are shown for the times* indicated during the night. (MST times converted to UT are always on Jan 16.) Magnitude values are taken from web references that were current that evening. The Moon was 2 days from 1Q and so was prominent during the evening.
* In case you didn't know, when using Deep Sky Stacker in "comet+stars" alignment mode, the comet's position in the "reference frame" is where it's placed in the final stacked image.
