A 2 magnitude strong outburst was first observed 12 23.72 ± 0.34 16.00R => 14.05R this image UTC-0600 on December 24. Prior captures of 29P on December 21 and 23 are included in the mosaic for comparison. This shows the movement of 29P against the background stars.
