Details:
This is my first capture of C/2012 S1 ISON. While it isn't a great image, it is interesting to know that it was captured with somewhat ordinary equipment. I used a Nikon D700, 85mm prime lens, f/2.8, ISO800, and captured 30 images of 4s duration. The equipment was mounted on a standard camera tripod without tracking. The images were stacked using DeepSkyStacker.
In the coming weeks/months it will only get better.
