Details:
I spent some time under the full Hunter's Moon shooting down on the rocky shoreline at Bass Harbor Lighthouse trying to find some compositions I liked. This angle ended up being my favorite, with the reflection of the lighthouse in this small tidal pool in the foreground. The red light in the tower at Bass Harbor is produced by an acrylic shroud that covers the Fresnel lens. This photo is one single image, not an HDR composite and has been processed through Lightroom 4 & Photoshop CS5.
