On November 9th 1995 Hale-Bopp also was 6.20au from the sun, at Mag. 10 and on April 1st 2001 at a distance of 13,8au from the sun, it was at ca. mag.15 and had a coma diameter of 7'. It shows the same shell or spiral structure as 29P often has on its best viewed outbursts.
