Details:
The first two photos show the 2-day old Moon (4.6% illuminated) immersed in the colors of the evening twilight. Jupiter, currently a challenging target for a camera alone, is shown in the last two photos. It was captured when its altitude was 4.6° and the Sun was 3° below the horizon. At 7.5° elongation only, Jupiter is now so close to the Sun that it is already in the field of view of Soho Lasco C3 coronographs. Shots were taken with a Canon SX60 HS around 21:00 UT.
