Taken by Ray Stinson on July 26, 2014 @ Unexpected Aurora during low activity level from Sun at Solarmax. Kp=2 but Btotal 8.0nt with Bz at 6.2nt. Solar wind 389k/s with proton density at 3.8 protons/cm3. Aurora started at 1230am mdt and still going at 4am. Camera Canon 60D, ISO 2500, 20sec exposure with Tokina 10-18 F2.8 lens.
