When the apogee full Moon rose above the clouds, it displayed a beautiful lower pillar and some strong colors. Knowing that this was the smallest full Moon in the last 1000 years added some spice to the scenery as well. Canon Eos5D MkII with an EF 70-200/2.8 xoom at 200mm. Taken at 16h26 UT

it is not a traditional HDR technique, the clouds moved way too fast for that.
I took 2 pictures in rapid succession, one for the Moon and one for the clouds and then combined them in Photoshop. There is no way you can expose both correctly in one shot.
