As others have noted, there is a new active region coming around the eastern limb that looks pretty interesting.

Solarmax 60II f/6.6, Canon XTi ISO 800, surface 1/800 sec. prominences 1/250 sec. East and West are reversed.

The surface and prominence shots are 5 layer stacks. Treated with Lynkeos' Lucy-Richardson algorithm and Photoshop for stacking, montage and colour.

No wonder, I did not pick up any sunspots from my camrecorder.It is a plain disk.
