In the night of Jan. 3, 2014, Zhan Xiang from Beijing Planetarium and his friends came to Huatai village of Beijing to observe the QUA meteor show. The shower was unexpectedly spectacular! This picture is taken by Zhan Xiang, including 67 bright QUA meteors in 2.2 hours. Zhan Xiang noticed that from 19:00 to 21:00 UT, the ZHR of this show is consistently high, and there are much more dark meteors than bright ones. This picture is taken by Canon 6D + 24 mm lens, ISO 6400, f/1.8, 6 seconds exposure, 67 photos combined.
