Details:
A very bright Perseid trail captured by the ASI224MC wide-angle camera in the early morning hours. The trace can be seen in four frames of the video, with the precise times recorded. The flight lasted a little less than 1 second. Based on two bright stars nearby: Alpha Ari (Hamal) and Alpha Ceti (Menkar) which are magnitude 2 ie. 2.5, the estimated luminosity at the time of combustion was surely close to the luminosity of Venus?
