Details:
Camera Pentax K1 with DFA 70-200 F2.8 zoom lens@ 200 mm. Tracked using built-in Astrotracer. Arrived at Mt. Laguna a day early before the Perseids meteor shower peak as Wednesday night’s weather forecast for Southern California did not sound too promising. Still a lot of road traffic along Sunrise highway, even for early morning, so gave up on wide field landscape photography to catch an early Perseid and tried to find and image Comets 10P Tempel 2 and 220P McNaught. Although about a 7 magnitude object, 220P is very small with a 200 mm lens on full frame sensor.
