Details:
It is a Near-Earth Object (NEO) which are tracked to assess potential earthly hazards. It was
discovered by NEAT (566) at Haleakala, Hawaii on 5. July 1997.
The absolute magnitude of 17.9 suggests a diameter
between 0.7 to 1.6 kilometers, making it larger than ~97% of all asteroids.
