I captured a straight-out-of-phone image of the aurora on 2025-03-08 at 22:14 from Seltjarnarnes, Reykjavik, Iceland. The sky was clear, and the aurora appeared as broad green curtains with a slight touch of purple-red near the edge. This was my first night in Iceland, during a strong auroral event. Shot with an iPhone 15, 26mm f/1.6 lens, 1-second exposure, ISO 3200, handheld. No additional processing was applied.
