C/2025 A6 and Its Solar Wind Shaped Tail Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon), imaged on October 25 from Huichapan, Hidalgo, Mexico. The green coma arises from sunlight exciting diatomic carbon (C₂) and cyanogen (CN). Its dust tail is shaped by radiation pressure and the solar wind as the comet travels at high velocity along its orbit toward perihelion. The image was produced from short, stacked exposures to preserve detail in both the coma and the developing tail.
