This image is a mosaic of 4 images each 6x10 seconds long taken on the evening of 2025 October 25 from 0131-0141UT. The mosaic shows the first 4 degrees of the dust and ion tails of Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon), the tails continue to extend beyond this mosaic image. The ion tail is the thin blue tail and the dust tail is a much wider yellowish orange tail. The tails are at a position angle of 28 degrees from the comet coma. The comet was magnitude 4.2 with a 0.17 degree wide coma. The comet coma and tails were easily visible to the naked eye. Click on the image to see the mosaic at it's best resolution.
