Details:
Here is a shot of comet Swan taken a few nights ago at the day of closest approach to the Earth. It was smack dab right in the middle of the scutum star clouds and was moving so fast I could not expose longer than 1 minute for each subframe to not totally blur out the comet. The tail was not seen even in binoculars, however I could see the comet naked eye without too much effort.
