Details:
I've been traveling in Australia and New Zealand for 5 weeks and have had cloudy skies nearly every night. Finally I got mostly clear skies tonight. I took this at 9:35 PM from Queenstown on New Zealand's South Island. Much of the aurora is blocked by the mountains, but you can see a bit of green and a lot of red, along with the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds, Alpha and Beta Centauri, the Southern Cross, and a portion of the Milky Way.
