Details:
Went out for some stargazing at around 2 am MT (8:00 UTC) to catch the rising Milky Way before Moonrise. I set up my camera with a fish eye lens and took a shot, which surprisingly revealed a pink glow to the north. I changed out the fish eye for a 14mm lens and captured a brief substorm. It was already fading after a minute or two. Crestone, Colorado 37.996 deg north.
