Details:
Image of the waning crescent moon (42% illuminated) using the iTelescope Planewave 0.51-m f/6.8 reflector + CCD. An H-alpha filter was used to surpress excess reflected light from the moon. In the upper center of the image, the impact crater Copernicus is clearly visible with its double central peak and terraced walls. The large crater Clavius is visible at the lower left. The resolution is 0.81 arcseconds per pixel.
