Details:
Despite hazy and partly cloudy conditions, Mercury did not disappoint. Its sodium ion tail is approximately 1 degree long in this image and is expected to become more prominent over the next couple of days. To capture, I used a Canon 85mm lens attached to a ZWO ASI 462 with a 589nm filter. The final image is cropped from a stack of 10 exposures each 10 seconds long.
