Details:
October 10-11 (EDT) G4 storm seen from Shenandoah National Park, Central District overlooking Luray, Virginia. In this final sequence, about 1AM EDT (10/11), the storm still strong in the north, to the east a persistent long red plume reached diagonally across the sky toward Washington DC as Orion, the Pleiades, and the Winter Circle of constellations ascended in the east. It was magical. The entire 5 sequences here shot with the iPhone 14 Pro Max, braced but hand held. Just amazing. Can’t wait to see my Canon R5 pix!
