Details:
Good things are coming in the evening sky! I recovered Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS tonight after sunset and it is looking good even in bright twilight. I could see it with the unaided eye and it was very easy in Canon 10x50 IS binoculars. This image was taken on October 11, 2024 at 7:50pm EDT with a tripod-mounted Nikon D700 with a 210mm Nikkor lens at f8, a 1-second exposure at ISO 400. The original frame was cropped around the comet.
