Details:
I have been faithfully trying to photography auroras in Kansas since October 2003. Included is my first and only picture shot north towards the town of Penalosa, Kansas in late October 2003 (probably on film). We returned on October 10th, 2024 to the same spot. We were late getting there but manage shots from 10:11 PM thru 12:48 AM on October 11th. Although they were not visible to the eye, the camera picked them up. Canon EOS 60D, 10mm Rokinon f2.8 lens, ISO 640-1000, 30 second exposure.
