Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) rises above the city of Flagstaff, Arizona, as seen from Mars Hill, home of Lowell Observatory.

This was at 0515 MST with the Sun at -13° and the comet at +2°. The image is a stack of 10 x 4 seconds, ISO 1600, f/4.

The comet was barely visible in binoculars (7x50) and not visible to the unaided eye.
