Details:
Spaceweather posted that the CME hit about 1 hour 40 minutes before local sunset. 90 minutes later we began to see signs of auroral activity in our southeast. Watching from 0430-0930 the auroras kept going non stop. We had a constant stream of overhead coronas; most notably was the abundance of orange, peach and pink colors as the night progressed which I had never seen. More photos were than in my previous 27 trips to Alaska.
