I have imaged the Saturn occultation from Rome Italy. A mosaic of the ingress is shown in the image. Note the planet and the ring gradually disappearing at the lunar limb. I used a Mak Cassegrain 18 cm, a HQY 5 III S 290 color camera. The image is the composition given the notable difference in brightness between planet and moon of a correctly exposed image of the planet and one of the lunar limb. Enclosed also some single images of this interesting event.
