Details:
This morning at 5:30 a.m. Saturn was covered by the moon. The image shows the moment just before Saturn disappears behind the moon (at the upper edge of the moon on the left). Since we are currently looking closely at Saturn's ring edge from Earth, the ring appears as a straight line.
