Its not often you see a G5 storm right near your house. Most amazing sight I have seen. Very visible to the naked eye. Taken in a dark location a bit past Snoqualmie Pass summit (exit 54). Cars were lined up everywhere and it was a real traffic jam getting out of town Friday evening. This is only a few of the 350+ photos I managed to capture, many to create time lapse videos. Beautiful background of the mountains. Taken with a Nikon D3100 DSLR at f3.5, ASA 1600 and FOV of 18mm. 5 second exposures. The reds were only noticeable in the camera photos. Amazing is an understatement.
