Details:
Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks on February 28, 2024, imaged using a telephoto lens, provides a wide starry field located in the constellation Andromeda. In the image, you can distinguish its bluish ion tail with a length of up to 4 degrees (which would occupy in the sky the space of eight moons lined up next to each other). The brightness of the comet, which I estimated simultaneously using binoculars, was at magnitude 6. Lens Samyang F2.0/135mm Camera Canon EOS 100D Exposure 40 min. (40x60 sec. at ISO 800) From Alto del Atochar, Valencia (Spain)
