Details:
1. Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks: 05 March 2024. Shot with legacy Nikkor 180mm f/2.8 ED AI-S manual focus lens. The lens is good but has some vignetting at f/2.8; very good at f/4 as in this image.
2. A simple stack of images of Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks using Lighten blend mode in Photoshop. It shows numerous satellite tracks during this ~30min period. Fortunately, modern stacking software can often remove this.
Nikon D750, 180mm, f/4.0, 29x60seconds, ISO 800.
