On the evening of December 1, 2023, I photographed (from Yuzhno-Morskoy, Nakhodka) a very rare phenomenon for this latitude and area (in the south of Primorsky Krai, coordinates 42.86 N, 132.69 E, on the coast of the Sea of Japan, above Gaidamak bay) phenomenon: the aurora. This can be seen in the photographs taken by me from 12:55 to 13:14 UT (I am attaching two of them: at 13:14 and 13:03 UT, Canon EOS 60D camera, exposures 15 sec., ISO-2500, f/3.5, 18 mm). I saw this with the naked eye in the form of a faint glow against the background of a bright sky illuminated by the Moon, and I made a video-timelapse of this from 64 frames:
