Details:
I had indications the past week of a possible ISS transit against the Moon and which included very minor orbital maneuvers and which made matters interesting. All is well that ends well as I got my lunar transit and in spite of clouds coming and going all day. Further details at https://www.perseus.gr/Astro-Sat-Trans-2023-09-01.htm . Please note that the middle instance of the ISS is precisely over the Apennine Mountain range and the landing area of the Apollo 15 mission.
