Details:
Hi Tony Despite cloudy skies with random clear breaks the peak of this years Perseids was great. My friend and I counted 78 Perseids in partially clear skies from midnight to 3am and we also witnessed 3 fireballs. The best was mag -6 which cast shows on the ground with an ion train visible for 10 secs which was so bright it blocked out the stars. I got one Perseid on a patrol image, thats me with a Perseid and Vega from an elevated view point, I had to climb up high to get the composition. Canon 5D Mark IV 8 secs with 15mm F/2.8 lens
