Today's Venus shoot was challenging, exciting and unforgettable. From 1973 until today, I have recorded and observed about fifteen solar eclipses, several transits of Mercury and two transits of Venus (2004 and 2012) with different telescopes, cameras and methods. Still, shooting Venus so close to the Sun's glare without a protective filter tested my concentration like never before. The mistake could have irreversibly damaged the eyesight. The experience and unrepeatability of the moment led me to double recording, which turned out to be crucial in the quality of the resulting recording. Namely, morning videos have more usable frames, while midday videos are practically unusable. Like other languages in the world, the Croatian language distinguishes the appearance of Venus as a "star" in the evening and morning sky. The technology of the 21st century made possible the experience of recording and observing the "Noon Star in the Sun's Flare"!
