Object/Date: C/2021 T4 (Lemmon) @ 2023 May 31, 04:01 UT Description: Comet C/2021 T4 (Lemmon) imaged on May 31, 2023, rapidly increasing in brightness, is seen in this image at magnitude 10.4 and with a fairly condensed coma measuring 4 arcminutes in size. Two very faint tails can be discerned: one to the east (left), which could correspond to the dust tail, and another to the southwest (bottom-right), which could be the ionic or anti-tail because the Earth is in the comet's orbital plane these days.
