Details:
Object/Date: C/2023 E1 (ATLAS) @ 2023 May 24, 23:09 UT Description: Comet C/2023 E1 (ATLAS) imaged on May 24, 2023, one month after had an outburst of activity increasing its brightness from magnitude 16.5 to 11.5, forming a wide but faint gas coma. In this field located between constellation Draco and Ursa Major, several spiral galaxies can also be seen. The image was taken under poor transparency conditions and with moonlight, but sufficient to record it on the only clear night in May that I had.
