Details:
The day after the unexpected G2 storm, the auroral activity went back on low level, however, it prepared a surprise before local midnight of Oldervik, Norway. For a few minutes from a dark, very bright sub-storm hit the sky and lit up the nightscape like a full moon. After a minutes later, it went to low level again like nothing happened. For such a fast experience, I was not even able to make a nice composition, however, captured the substorm, eventually. Used Canon 6D, Samyang 12mm, 3200 ISO, f2.8 and 1s exposures.
