Details:
I don't remember getting so much rain consistently day after day along with cloud filled skies. I was quite surprised when going to the mailbox late this afternoon to see a clear patch of cloudless blue sky to the west, right where the bright setting Sun was shining. I quickly rolled out my solar imaging rig and began to capture video. The Sun was very active with lots of surface detail and sunspots, plus a number of prominences...including one enormous prominence shooting straight out from the limb. I have captured large prominences before, but not one going out this far.
