Details:
Despite the brightly shining moon it was even possible to see the green auroras with the naked eye down here in Northern Germany in one particularly bright substorm shortly before midnight. Later the reds got a bit stronger but remained subvisual most of the time, however photographically really quite impressive. Some beams were really sharp, I actually have never seen such sharply defined beams before. Also shot some real-time footage with the A7s, a first for me down here. Solar Cycle 25 seems to become a really good one considering that the maximum will be 2024 or so. Cheers to all the other aurora lovers out there!
