Details:
My goal was to obtain some illusive cloud details in the rather bland atmosphere of the 7th planet. The seeing was a respectable 3/5 here in Central Pennsylvania. I recorded a 20 minute video capturing 47,000 frames in Firecapture using the IR610 filter. After attempting many combinations of processing techniques using AS3 and Registax 6, no details other than possible polar hood brightening were gained. The Northern Polar Region is nearly pointing directly towards the Earth. I used a Celestron EDGE C9.25 f/10, and a ZWO ASI290mm cameral. The IR610RGB image was stacked with AS3, Sharpened with Registax 6 and further improved using PS5.
