Details:
Last night (around 2 am local time / 5 am UT) I was witness of a very unusual scene in Jupiter: I saw Europa (and its shadow) emerging from a transit in front the planet (right), at the same time that Ganymede and Io was appearing behind Jupiter limb in the opposite side (left). I´ve never seen this very rare triple and simultaneous event in my 30 years as amateur astronomer. I took these 2 images (each of them are stackings of some 1200 frames) of the event at 5:08 and 5:13 UT August 12th (2:08 and 2:13 am local time) with my Meade LX90 12" telescope and a ZWO ASI 385 camera. The seeing and atmospheric transparence were poor in Buenos Aires sky, but despite this I could these fairly good photos.
