Details:
I look with envy at those who have access to truly clear dark skies. I haven’t, so my challenge is to see what I can achieve from my garden in the edge of town in light-polluted Britain with single shot (no composite images). It is still a work in progress. Image 1: The night of the 8th July provided an exceptionally clear period at 00.15 UTC with visible Milky Way. Image 1: Canon EOS6D 25/1 f.2.8 12,800 ISO with photoshop gymnastics. Image involves over-exposing (without clipping), then pulling the exposure back down and de-hazing etc. Image 2: 30/1 f.2.8 4000ISO 21.12 UTC August 18 2020 f2.8 Samyang 14mm. Our streetlights are fully downward pointing, but still reflect upwards.
