Details:
Mercury and Venus in a very close conjunction (24 arcmin) ~5° off the western horizon. Brilliant Venus (mag -3.9) was easily spotted by eye but dim Mercury (mag 2.2) needed binoculars (or the camera).

Panasonic GX8, 100-300mm zoom @ 127mm, (f/4.3, 1/2 sec, ISO 400), FOV=6°x8°.
