Details:
The first image is montage of 12 photographs of the Waning Crescent Moon with the three planets Saturn (top), Jupiter (middle) and Mercury (bottom) taken at four-minute intervals after first light at 5.17 am on the 9th (top row), 10th (middle row) and 11th March (bottom row). It shows how much the sky brightens in the first quarter of an hour and the movement of the Moon with respect to the rising planets. The second and third images are triplets of beautiful pictures taken in my back garden between 5.19 and 5.31 am on the same days of the Waning Moon and three planets above yellow Hibiscus flowers and magenta Sunrise Twilight Arches. The last image shows the phases of the crescent Moon at about 5.40 am from the 9th (top) to 11th March. Camera: Hand-held Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS40 in night scenery and sunset modes.
