I was surprised ! The Sun was already low at South West ... I just looked at spaceweather to see how the sunspot was evolving. I saw M1 flare ~ 13:55 UT. I gazed at this info "Is it now ?" I visited GOES and Yes !! I quickly got my skywatcher portable mount, setup my PST-DS (equipped with an 2.2x 80 mm diam. extender see http://sweiller.free.fr/PST/indexPST.html ) and started imaging exactly when the flare was at maximum strength (M4). The image shown here is registered with Autostakkert!3 from a SER file taken 13:10 UT to 13:12 UT). Finalisation AstroSurface and GIMP2. The flare does not look as I am used to see and M4 flare ... I suppose that AR2786 is so huge that it is "diluted" !
