Details:
Today I succeeded the first visual observation of a very bright Perseide bolide (estimated - 6 mag!) with receiving the associated radar echo via the GRAVES radar in Dijon, France, at 143.050 MHz. Shortly after lighting up (the bolide was almost blinding!) the radar hit with a 10s continuous echo (afterglow trail). Today for the first time my big yagi was mounted again for radio observation of the Perseids. SDR, 9 elements long high gain yagi, Funcube Dongle Pro+
