Details:
The clouds parted just long enough to point the scope at Comet NEOWISE and obtain the frames for this image. The comet happened to be passing by M64, the "Black Eye Galaxy". It was especially interesting to consider that the comet was occupying the same area of space where Messier listed an object not to confuse for a comet. Nikon D850 with 130mm, f/7 refractor, ISO 1000, 30-second exposures X 20 for stacking. Time of mid exposure 05:37 UTC on 08/04/2020.
