Details:
What a difference since yesterday. With transparency (0 to 10) at a 10, this comet shined for those willing to get up at dawn.
Tech specs: Nikon d3500, Nikkor 180mm, f/2.8 @ f/2.8, iso 1600, stacked 20x20s raw, post-processed in PixInsight, Lightroom and Photoshop. Taken between 3:50AM to 3:59AM MDT.
F.O.V. is ~7x5 degrees. Comet's tail stretched at least 6 degrees in this uncropped image. The blue ion tail showed interesting hints of red.
